Biography of Wing Commander Adrian Warburton, DSO and Bar, DFC with two Bars and DFC (USA). Warby was a controversial figure, notable as a Photo Reconnaissance pilot in Spitfires, and the author served with him on Malta. THIS COPY has a presentation inscription from Spooner to Harry Coldbeck, who also flew PR missions from Malta, and who is quoted in the book. There are included some letters between Coldbeck and an Italian military historian researching the Augusta naval base in Sicily, relating to Coldbeck being shot down and taken prisoner.
