Junior picture book. An imaginative story featuring a purple hippopotamus, Mr Twho, who lives in a garden filled with embroidery flowers, behind a large yellow brick wall with a blue gate. He is happy to watch the people wearing exotic hats and the traffic passing by. At night he sleeps under a magnolia tree, hugging his teddy called Sid, and if he is a good Hippo, the kind lady gives him a plate of his favourite ice-cream cake. Mt Twho is a friendly, loving hippo, who delights in blowing kisses. Illustrated by Peb Simmons.
