With a Short Historical Account of the same; and their Present State: To which is added and INDEX of the Ancient and Latin Names.  Very Necessary for the right understanding of all Modern Histories, and especially the divers Accounts of the present Transactions of Europe.  The Second Edition Corrected and Enlarged, together with several Useful Maps not in the former edition.


Binding of text block intact, however leather front cover and the spine are completely detached (the spine has disintegrated).  Soiling of title page, and foxing & tanning throughout.  Some tears of pages, and some folds to corners.  Only two fold-out maps present, one of Africa, and one of the Americas.  In page world map present at the beginning of the book.  Signed 1776 by John Oldershaw, an English Clergyman.
