Exhibiting pure-bred chickens at officially organised shows is a hobby pursued by thousands of enthusiasts throughout the world. Exhibition Poultry Keeping provides a detailed, informative and wide-ranging guide to the techniques needed to keep pure-bred poultry successfully. Considers housing, equipment, nutrition, the management of broody hens, incubation and chick-rearing, poultry genetics and breeding systems and examines show-bird training and preparation as well as show-judging.
