The New Zealand botanical classic. An account of plant geography written by Cockayne for Prof. Dr. A. Engler's comprehensive German published series Vegetation der Erde. The publication of the first edition, substantially written in 1913, was interrupted by the Great War of 1914-18 and eventually appeared in 1921. The extent of interest shown led Engler to invite a second edition and Cockayne produced a substantially new book, published in 1928. THIS is a complete facsimile copy of that second edition. Very scarce in any edition.
