This official history relates the development of service aviation in New Zealand beginning in the 1920s, and gives an account of the part played by the RNZAF in training men for serivce with the RAF, and in operations against the Japanese in the South Pacific.  A concluding chapter briefly outlines the development of the RNZAF up to the end of 1954.

Lacking dust jacket.  Some marks to the blue buckram boards, which are bumped on spine and corners.  Gilt lettering to spine bright and clear.
