The Paparoa Track is New Zealand's first purpose-built, walking/biking Great Walk. It spans a mountain range, a national park, and some of the most dramatic wilderness landscapes found in the country. Three specialist track construction teams worked for two and a half years, often in atrocious weather, to complete the 55 kilometre track.
