A booklet that undertakes a history of IRD women employees to commemorate the centennial of women's suffrage in New Zealand.
By 1993, 62 per cent of IRD employees were women. But it is only within the last few years that the work enviroment has changed to the extent that women are just beginning to make an impact in the senior levels of the Department. Reading this book is quite an enlightment.
