Undated but likely a first or early UK edition.  Large 34x26.5cm green textured buckram hardcovers that show some wear to the edges and corners. 

Much of the binding of both volumes is broken and loosening. Pages 33/34 are completely loose.  There is a complete break in the spine following page 38, and the pages untill 40 are detached. In the second volume pages 150-152, and 171-175 are detached.  Some foxing and marking to most pages.
