A depiction of an age of colourful characters, and the many ways they made money on the West Coast goldfields; searching implacably for hidden reefs, claim-jumping, or endless litigation.  This is the story of the Victorian-era wrecked machines whose providence had them shipped from Melbourne to Wesport, and dragged piecemeal by riverboat and sledge to the out of the way fields.

VG/Fair.  Crease to spine, some bruising of board corners.  DJ worn and chipped, with some losses.
